Morris Gastfreund (1916-2010) was born on 2 February 1916 in Wodzisław Śląski, Poland. He was the survivor of several camps including Dachau, Buchenwald, and Skarzysko-Kamienna. He was liberated from Theresienstadt in May 1945 and lived in the Landsberg displaced persons camp for several years. He later immigrated to the United States.
