Majer Weinreb was born on 5 March 1894 in Kopki, Poland, as the son of Israel Weinreb and Ettel Rosenbuth. Majer became a diamond cutter. Small bronze statue cast from the figurine made by Vera Meisels from a bar of washing soap shortly after her liberation from Theresienstadt concentration camp in early May 1945.
