De geinterviewde heeft de familie Frank in Westerbork leren kennen en kon het goed met Edith Frank vinden. Ze is in dezelfde wagon naar Auschwitz vervoerd en heeft daar nog regelmatig contact met hen gehad. Haar man had een goed contact met Otto Frank.
