In 1945, the Ministry of Social Welfare established an institution called the National Administration of Property Essentials of the Property Office and the Eviction Fund, which was tasked with administering property taken from the original owners during the occupation under the pressure of national, political and racial persecution, i.e. This was primarily the property under the jurisdiction of the Central Office for Jewish Eviction (later the Central Office for the Adjustment of the Jewish Question in Bohemia and Moravia), the Eviction Fund for Bohemia and Moravia and the Property Office of the Reich Protector (later the German Minister of State). The National Administration of Property ceased its activities in 1950; the agenda of unresolved cases (i.e. the administration of property not restituted by that time) was transferred to certain state administration institutions through the National Restoration Fund. The files are divided into several units. The first three units contain documents representing the agenda arising from the appointment of administrators to Jewish enterprises or the liquidation of enterprises under the authority of the special plenipotentiary for the maintenance sector at the Reich Protector, the government president in Ústí nad Labem and the regional president in Brno. The fourth set consists of reports by the Deutsche Wirtschaftsprüfungs- und Treuhandgesellschaft Berlin and its branch in Prague on audits of the economy of Jewish enterprises. The fifth volume represents part of the agenda of the Treuhand und Revisionsgesellschaft Prag concerning its auditing activities in Jewish enterprises. The sixth unit represents the agenda of the named company arising from its administration of deposits, bank accounts, securities, houses and other property owned by Jewish emigrants. In the archival file we can also find part of the files of the Hadega trading company (Handelsgesellschaft Prag), which carried out appraisals, forced sales and purchases of Jewish jewellery and precious metals, as well as reports from the deposit departments of savings banks and banks and the Reich Protector's office concerning the transfer of Jewish securities to a tied deposit on condition that 20% of the profit from this transaction be paid to the Reich Protector's General Treasury, etc.
