Remnants of German Army return for demobilization. This is a convoy of disarmed German soldiers crossing the Zuyder Zee from Holland to Germany for demobilization. Landing boats full of prisoners-of-war are shown crossing from Den Helder to Harlingen. In the background is the causeway over which convoys of horse-drawn vehicles and mile-long columns of prisoners made their way to demobilization stations.
