' Nazis Massacre Russian Prisoners. April 8, 1945, Nazi SS troopers shot over 200 Russian prisoners of war at Wulfel, a suburb of Hanover, Germany. Photo: German civilians carrying shovels pass through the same cemetery gate that the Russian prisoners did just before being murdered by SS troops. They have been ordered to dig proper graves for the disinterred victims.
