Morris Gastfreund (1916-2010) was born on 2 February 1916 in Wodzisław Śląski, Poland. He was the survivor of several camps including Dachau, Buchenwald, and Skarzysko-Kamienna. He was liberated from Theresienstadt in May 1945 and lived in the Landsberg displaced persons camp for several years. He later immigrated to the United States.

Consists of 20 photographs depicting scenes at post-liberation Ebensee and a notice entitled "The Camp of Ebensee" with handwritten annotations by Paul Seres. The notice contains information about the evolution of the camp, conditions for prisoners, and atrocities committed by the camp commanders.
