Consists of two identity cards belonging to Eugene Kohan, originally of Nowe Zamsky, Czechoslovakia. Includes a card identifying Mr. Kohan as an inmate of the Buchenwald concentration camp from May 1944 to April 1945 and a 1948 card identifying him as a professional soccer player in a German league, listing his place of residence as Heidenheim displaced persons camp.

A photocopy of parts of "Buchenwald and Beyond," which concerns the 120th U.S. Evacuation Hospital and its service to survivors and displaced persons at Buchenwald concentration camp and Cham, Germany, after liberation. Entire book is in Library collection as D807.U722 120th B83 1946.

George Kadish, born Zvi (Hirsh) Kadushin (1910- 1997), was a Lithuanian Jewish photographer who documented life in the Kovno Ghetto during the Holocaust. Prior to World War II he was a mathematics, science and electronics teacher at a Hebrew High School in Kovno, Lithuania. As a hobby, Kadish was a photographer. Consists of a four-page typescript, written by Eli Rock, entitled "A Visit by Eisenhower." The subject is the writer's observations of a visit by Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower and Gen. George S. Patton Jr. to the Feldafing displaced persons camp in Jul. 1945.

The collection consists of tefillin and storage pouch, two prayer books, copy prints, documents, and photographs relating to the experiences of the Isak Perelmuter and David Rozines families in Łódź, Poland, before and during the Holocaust and in Bad Reichenhal displaced persons camp in Germany after the the end of World War II.
