The collection consists of two caricatures, thirteen newspapers, and a directory relating to the experiences of Annemarie Loewe Durra during the Holocaust when she was interned at Theresienstadt ghetto-labor camp in German occupied Czechoslovakia and after the war when she lived in Deggendorf displaced persons camp in Germany.

The photographs document the experiences of the Hanoch family in Kovno (Kaunas), Lithuania, before World War II and the experiences of Uriel Hanoch and her brother in a displaced persons camp in Germany and Italy after their liberation from concentration camps.

The papers consist of seven photographs of refugees at the displaced persons camp, Bad Reichenhall, and on the military transport ship, "General McCray," which was headed for the United States in October 1949, as well as release papers from the Bad Reichenhall DP camp and a Polish repatriation document.

Maximilian Landau was born on October 4, 1904 in Minsk, Russia. He was the son of Edward Landau and Gustawa Kraushar Landau. Maximilian, who was an engineer, married Felicia Gurewicz and their daughter Irene was born in Warsaw in 1930. The collection consists of two armbands, cloth bundle, two combs, earmuff, klaf, knife, scissors, scrip, tag, documents, photographs, and books relating to the experiences of Frances Ziegler before and during the Holocaust in Poland where she lived in hiding in Poland and after the Holocaust in Fohrenwald displaced persons camp.

Consists of photographs, identification card, postcards, certificates, receipts, telegrams, a flyer, envelope, letters, documents, and permits relating to Gertrude Hoffer (later Gertrude Milgrom), and her family's experiences in Vienna, Austria; Zagreb, Yugoslavia; London, United Kingdom; Bielsko, Poland, Landsberg displaced persons camp, Germany; and her immigration to the United States.

Collection consists of correspondence and one photograph sent to Holton Ramsay Small [donor's brother] in the United States from a family in Austria seeking assistance to leave Europe, and one letter written to him from a displaced person in Salzburg, in English.
