Letters by Pessla Wellner (donor's grandmother) with occassional comments by other family members sent to Riwka and Jonas Markowitz (donor's parents), who had escaped from Poland to Soviet Central Asia (Bukhara) during World War II; as well as photographs from the Mariendorf (Berlin) displaced persons camp, including portraits of the donor.

Consists of documents and photographs relating to the post-war experiences of Morris, Regina, and Chana Zalcberg. This includes emigration documentation from the Feldafing Displaced Persons camp, a photograph of the family, and six audiotapes of the oral testimony of Morris Zalcberg, recorded in 1981, who was in the Polish army before the war.

The collection consists of a set of bookends,a glass bowl, brooch, case, cigarette lighter, gameboard, portfolio cover, shoulder badge, and stickpin relating to the experiences of Louis J. Walinsky while he was Director of the World ORT vocational schools in displaced persons camps in Germany in 1947.

Consists of photographic negatives of Dachau liberation photos, which were widely published and distributed to American soldiers in the spring of 1945. These images are from the collection of the Racimora family, who were imprisoned during the war and spent time in displaced persons camps after the war.

The collection consists of a concentration camp uniform jacket, a fork, and a letter relating to the experiences of Getzel Fingerhut (later George Fine) during the Holocaust when he was a prisoner in Kaufering X concentration camp in Germany and after the Holocaust in Feldafing displaced persons camp.

Correspondence received by Shulamit Klebanov, while she was working on behalf of the Jewish Agency, providing assistance to Holocaust survivors in displaced persons camps in Europe following World War II. Most of the letters are from fellow aid workers, describing their work with Holocaust survivors and vocational courses offered to them by ORT.

Consists of one photograph and photocopies from the collection of Herbert Steinhouse, who was in Europe working for the UNRAA and JDC after the war. The photograph depicts displaced persons in the Bergen-Belsen DP camp, and the collection also contains photocopies and descriptions of post-war Bergen-Belsen photographs and information about Mr. Steinhouse.
