Liberated prisoners of war at Singapore. A group of Australian Imperial Forces ex-prisoners of war who were imprisoned in Changiprison camp. In the last month after liberation these men have put on weight up to two anf three stone. The majority of this group are Victorians. NI 5920

Alleged Japanese war criminals depart for Singapore. A New Zealand soldier stands gaurd over part of the 61 alleged Japanese war criminals, as they depart from Tokyo central station, Tokyo, Japan, en route to Singapore for trial by the British southeast Asia command. Included is the group wanted for alleged atrocities committed against numerous allied war prisoners. NI 5625
