Contains a photographic print, black and white, showing two American soldiers standing next to large pile of bodies to buried; taken in an unidentified concentration camp after liberation; dated April-May 1945. This photo was brought home from WWII by Leon A. Denski (donor's father) whose job after liberation was to bury the bodies that were found in the camps into mass graves.

Contains photographs of Gusen, a sub-camp of the Mauthausen concentration camp in Austria, immediately following the camp's liberation on May 5, 1945 by the American forces. Images depict liberated prisoners, Austrian citizens burying corpses from the camp, the cemetery for camp victims, and the hanging of an SS soldier.

Contains an envelope with photographs strung together. Photographs show the reburial of victims of the Mauthausen concentration camp and its subcamp Gusen, in Austria, shortly after liberation. Included are images of civilians [Austrians living near the camp] burying the victims; images of the deceased in piles at the camps; and burning of infested barracks.

Charles Keller (1915-2008) was a career military man and served with the US Army in Europe during WWII.

Consists of five photographs taken by PFC George F. Seigman after the liberation of Gardelegen. Includes photographs taken of the corpses of victims and from within the trenches which were dug to bury the victims. PFC Seigman was a member of the 89th Chemical Mortar Battallion, which went through Gardelegen on May 8, 1945, while traveling to attach to the 102th division of the Ninth Army.
