The collection consists of copies of 51 brief testimonies from Holocaust survivors and 51 black-and-white matted portrait photographs of men and women; below each photograph is a copy of each person's Holocaust testimony written in his or her own hand

Arnold Schleifer (1872-1950) was a Vienna-born restaurateur who leased and managed the Claremont Inn and Tavern-on-the Green in New York City for many years. A propaganda film by Wolfgang Gorter. The 1st Mountain Division Mittenwald in the Caucasus 1939 - 1942. The footage for this film comes from the camera of a mountain hunter of the former 1st Mountain Division Mittelwald. Includes fight at 50 degrees below zero, flagging on the 5,633 meter high Elbrus and daily life of the soldiers in an occupied country.

The photograph depicts a young woman standing behind a seated man with her hand on his shoulder, "grandfather" written in margin below image. Inscription on verso: "Grandfather / he was a survivor too sic / from the geto [sic] bershade."
