The Simon Slivka photograph collection consists of eight photographs of the Śliwka family in Dabrowa Gornicza, Poland before and during the war.

This collection contains: a wartime photo of spouses David Weissblum and Giza Wachspress ; a wartime photo of Giza Wachspress ; a wartime photo of Giza Wachspress and her son Simon Weissblum ; two wartime photos of Simon Weissblum as a baby and as a toddler ; a wartime photo of Simon Weissblum with his rescuer misses Ecran-Petri ; two post-war photos of the Weissblum-Wachspress family.

Consists of a photocopy of a memoir, 20 pages, written soon after the end of the war by Jeannette Hammer Kaufmann, originally of Vienna, Austria. Married with two sons prior the war, she describes life after the Anschluss, their attempts to emigrate and being sent to the Opole ghetto in 1941. Therese (Tesi) Wertheim (née Mayer, 1896-1982) was born in Stuttgart, Germany to Max Wetheim (1865-1950) and Clara Mayer (d. 1927) and had one sister, Ruth (b. 1906). Ruth, her husband Adolf Sichel, and their son Martin immigrated to the United States in 1937. After Kristallnacht in 1938, Max immigrated to the United States with the help of Ruth and her family.
