Photocopied documents related to the experiences of the Warschau family at the Feldafing DP camp from 1949-1950, including the birth certificate (original) of daughter Martl, 1949.

The papers consist of a registration form ("Anmeldung") and eight photographs 2 of which are adhered to documents that contain text relating to the experiences of the Grynfeld-Grynglas familes in Łódź, Poland, and the displaced persons camp in Leipheim, Germany.

The letter was written by Hennoch Henry Hochman [donor's maternal great uncle] in Łódź, Poland, to Abe [Abram] Stern [donor's father] in which he discusses World War II and his hope for things to calm down and for peace to come quickly.

Consists of one letter written by Rabbi Jeheil Lefkowitz in 1936, in which he accepts a position as principal of a Hebrew school, and one letter by Rabbi Jacob Aaron Lefkowitz, undated, in which he requests financial aid from the Jewish community since he is a teacher and this brings him no income. Consists of correspondence between extended Lobsenz (formerly Lubzens) relatives in Poland, the Warsaw ghetto, and Łódź ghetto, and loved ones in the United States, including the donor's father, Jack Lobsenz, who immigrated to the US from Lipno, Poland in 1920. Also includes a photo in a portfolio, photographic postcards, a money order receipt, an envelope, and a certificate.

Consists of copyprints and film negatives taken by Roman Freulich in Łódź, Poland, in February-March, 1938. Includes photos of members of his family, as Freulich made the trip in part to encourage family members to immigrate to the United States. Also includes images of street scenes in Łódź, and two images taken in Warsaw.

The manuscript describes Alfred Dube's experiences in Prague, the Łódź ghetto, as a prisoner of both Buchenwald and a subcamp of Dora-Mittelbau (Nordhausen), and his liberation in Bergen-Belsen.

Consists of one forced labor work card from the Łódź ghetto, on onion skin without backing. The signed card, which is missing a photograph, was issued to Szajndla Rajs, born in 1935, listed as an apprentice milliner. The card is undated. Szajndla (Szaindla, Szaindle) Rajs perished in the Holocaust.

Contains three photographs depicting: a posed group of school girls in Łódź, Poland, in June 1939; a group of women at Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in April 1945 catching food thrown by a man on the outside; and Germans publicly humiliating two Jewish men in Grójec, Poland, in 1939 or 1940.
