Westhoek Schouwen. Pas ingeplant helmgras. In 1934 werd het plan opgevat om de duinen vast te leggen. Nico Lysen werd aangesteld als opziener. Hier is een 'vastgelegd' stuk te zien, ingeplant met helmgras.

Foto in zwart-wit van pas geïnstalleerde nieuwe brugdelen. De locatie is onbekend. De nieuwe brugdelen zijn geplaatst op oude beschadigde pijlers. Op de voorgrond ligt bouwmateriaal. Op de achtergrond moeten de nieuwe brugdelen nog worden geplaatst.

Fighting Greeks pass in review. Byron Carapanayotis, Greek Minister of War, inspects fighting units of the Greek Army as they pass in review at a Greek military training center somewhere in the Middle East (November 1943). Many of these Greek soldiers fought the Germans in their homeland and now await an opportunity to battle beside their fighting United Nations comrades.
