Dutch Hospital Ship Oranje leaves Melbourne for Batavia. Two dock workers with a box of Red cross supplies ready for loading on to the Dutch hospital ship Oranje. The Oranje left her berth at Princes Pier, Port Melbourne, on 23rd October, 1945, bound for a mercy mission to Batavia. NI 3807

Arrival of Hospital Ship Oranje at Port Melbourne. A group talking on the deck of the Hospital Ship Oranje after she had berthed at Prnices Pier Port Melbourne. Included in the group are Major General Burston, AIF and on the right the Dutch Matron of the ship, Matron van der Rooest.
