German prisoners of war in Allied camp, behind Italian front lines. A German prisoner of war, who surrendered during the Allied offensive in Italy, takes his lunch from a field kitchen to the mess hall of an Allied internment camp behind the front lines in Italy. The prisoners, who do their own cooking, receive the same food as American soldiers.
