German civiliand turn in weapons. A German police officer, working under the jurisdiction of the Third U.S. Army in Bas Godesberg, assists in the registration of weapons confiscated from civilians in the town. Bad Godesberg, one mile west of the Rhine River and three miles south of Bonn, fell to American forces March 9, 1945.
