Inundaties Zeeland-Walcheren. To free Antwerp from the Germans, the Allies inundated Walcheren Island by bombing the dike which seperated the island from the North Sea. The Dutch reclaimed the island but it was torn and devastated. Now homes are being rebuilt and the badly damaged roads repaired with the help of ECA counterpart funds.

Second haul of Goering's stolen treasures. A portrait of Hitler found among treasures hidden in the cave is the least valuable item but Goering may have paid for it in cash because it wasa painted by a German artist. The signature is that of Karl Rickelt. It was completed in Munich November 12, 1935.
