U.S. bulldozer shoves Japanese plane on junk heap. A U.S. Army soldier operating a bulldozer on Kiska in the North Pacific Aleutian Islands, from which the Japanese retreated in August, 1943, shoves wreckage of an enemy Zero fighter plane toward a junk heap. The plane was destroyed by Allied air bombardment which preceded the landing of U.S. and Canadian troops on Kiska.

Marconi's Yacht shall become a museum. The Italian state bought the ship Elettrawhich belonged to the famous Engineer Guglielmi Marconi and which served him as station for scientific experiments. It is planed that the Yacht shall become a swimming Marconi-Museum.
