Edith Steinberg collection
THe collection consists of a letter, two page, from Werner Samuel [and others unidentified] to Edith Steinberg, donor’s aunt. The letter, dated October 18, 1945, explains the fate of Edith’s husband, Siegfried, who was liberated in April 1945, transferred to Sweden to recuperate and died and buried in Sweden on June 6, 1945.
