Belgian refugees await transport to rear of battle area. An elderly Belgian woman and other civilians of La Gleize, near Stavelot, Belgium, await transport after American troops recaptured the town. The troops regained control of Stavelot December 23 (1944) and 4 days later hurled back te Germans from Bastogne.
