The collection consists of a briefcase, wallet, coin, and photograph relating to the experiences of Norman Naftali Zylberminc (later Silver) after the Holocaust in Landsberg displaced persons camp in Germany.

Gail Silver donated the oral history interview with her father Alan G. Silver to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in August 2019. The interview was edited for the film "The Life and Times of Alan G. Silver" along with its companion piece "Liberating Dachau, One Soldier's Story."
