Kenneth C. Myers photograph collection

Kenneth C. Myers was member of the United States Army, XIX Corps. After the D-Day invasion, he was reassigned to the 12th Armored Division and worked as a mechanic. His unit participated in the liberation of Dachau. Mr. Myers found a camera and taught himself to develop photographs in the back of his truck, which is how these photos were taken and developed. Mr. Myers passed away in 1988. Consists of two original photographs and two enlarged copyprints of the same images, which were taken by Kenneth C. Myers, a mechanic with the 12th Armored Division, which participated in the liberation of Dachau. One photograph depicts the landscape of the camp and barbed wire, while the other depicts corpses on a cart.
