Telegraph machine part
No restrictions on access Part of a telegraph instrument from a post office in Toulouse, France, circa 1960s, acquired by Arlette Benichou. It reminded Arlette of the one she used at the Post Office in Tunis, then part of the French Protectorate of Tunisia. She worked there sending and receiving telegraphs before and during the early years of World War II, before Jews were banned from civil service jobs.
