Eli Wallach collection

Collection of 31 Nazi propaganda photographs found on the floor of the Propaganda Ministry in Berlin, Germany, August 1945. Eli Wallach was born on December 7, 1915 to Abraham and Bertha Schor Wallach in Brooklyn, NY. During World War II, he served in the United States Army, spending five years in the medical corps and was ultimately promoted to the rank of captain. After he was discharged, he became a prominent actor on stage, film, and television. He passed away on June 24, 2014.
