Their daughter Miep Koenig was in the 1940 wedding as a bridesmaid; she survived and lives in Toronto. Collette, Sal, and Simon also survived the war. Jim de Zwarte was born on October 13, 1916 and died at Auschwitz on February 28, 1943. Rosa Wertheim was born on March 13, 1920 and died at Auschwitz on December 15, 1942.
