Объединение "неарийских христиан" (г. Берлин)

Nazi-Looted Jewish Archives in Moscow. A guide to Jewish Historical and Cultural Collections in the Russian State Military Archive, ed. by D. E. Fishman, M. Kupovetsky, V. Kuzelenkov, Scranton - London 2010. The collection's contents are described in one inventory, to which there is a geographical index. Certain documents catalogued in inventory no. 1 were transferred to the German Democratic Republic in 1957. The collection contains Alliance correspondence with Nazi German authorities defending the rights of "non-Aryan Christians," as well as correspondence with members of the organization on helping them find work, matriculate in programs of study, and travel abroad. The "Reich League of Christian-German State Citizens of non-Aryan or not Completely Aryan Origins" (Reichsverband christlich-deutscher Staatsbürger nichtarischer oder nicht rein arischer Abstammung) was founded in July 1933, and was renamed the "Reich League of Non-Aryan Christians" in 1934. In September 1936, the group adopted the name Paulus-Bund, Vereinigung nichtarischer Christen, the appellation by which it was most popularly known. The organization consisted of persons of ethnically mixed German-Jewish origin, and of Jewish-origin persons, who had accepted the Evangelical faith. Following the September 1935 adoption of the Nuremburg laws regarding persons of "non-Aryan origin," a policy of social segregation and isolation by "race" was consistently enforced vis-à-vis persons of such origin. The St. Paul Alliance of Non-Aryan Christians published a monthly newsletter, sponsored mutual aid among its members, and petitioned the Nazi authorities on their behalf for job placement, education, and other matters. It undertook efforts to settle its members in the former German South West Africa and in Latin America (primarily Brazil and Ecuador). The organization was dissolved by governmental decree on 10 August 1939.
