 Establishment of the Stichting Centraal Bureau van Onderzoek inzake de Vererving van de Nalatenschappen van Vermiste Personen, the fund for the administration of the property of missing persons in the Netherlands, on the initiative of the Brotherhood of Notaries in the Netherlands in 1949; the aim of the fund: to collect and administer information regarding the inheritances of people, most of them Jews, who were deported from the Netherlands by the Germans and who did not return; at the head of the fund stood G. W. M. Beck, the former general manager of the Ministry of Justice of the Netherlands, and J. H. Leopold, a legalist in the area of registration; their function was to locate relatives and to examine the property of missing persons and those who perished; establishment of a documents archive; completion of the fund's function in 1956; transfer of the documents archive to RIOD in 1958, while maintaining the structure of the documents archive; arrangement of the collection according to the dates that the fund handled the files, from 04/01/1950 until 22/09/1951;

 Investigation reports of the Stichting Centraal Bureau van Onderzoek inzake de Vererving van de Nalatenschappen van Vermiste Personen in The Hague, 1949-1956, regarding the location of inheritors of missing persons and those who perished;
 
 Correspondence by the fund with people and institutions, regarding the inheritors;
 
 Correspondence by the fund with the inheritors, regarding the investigation results;
 
 Census lists of towns in the Netherlands, regarding relatives of the person who bequeathed [property];
 
 Family trees [genealogies] composed by the fund, regarding the family of the person who perished;
 
 Declarations by the Dutch Red Cross, regarding the deportation of Jews and the death of [those] Jews in camps;
 
 Questionnaire of the Liquidatie van Verwaltung Sarphatistraat (the Lippmann, Rosenthal & Co. Bank during the Nazi period), regarding the restitution of confiscated property to Jews or to their inheritors in 1950;
 
 Legal documentation regarding marriage arrangements of spouses, among the inheritors;
 
 Card file of family trees [genealogies] of Jews, whose source is in the Netherlands Population Registry, without chronological or alphabetical order.
