Α handwritten and electronic catalogue (both in Greek) are available. The material of the Court Archives is available according to the provisions of the Law "General State Archives and other provisions (Law 1946/1991) and the Data Protection Act (Law 2472/1997). The Court of First Instance in Volos was founded in 1881. For the period of the early 20th century , there are judicial decisions concerning the financial affairs of the Jews in Volos. For the period of the Second World War, there are decisions concerning trade and economic disputes with Christians. For the postwar period, decisions relating to death certificates (mainly from the period 1946-1950), property looted by the Germans, the case of the Christian shopkeepers who had been affected by fire and claimed Jewish property, decisions on compensation to victims of the Nazi period (1961-1964). Copies are available and are issued by employees. Ratified copies of archival material are also available via application.
