The Jewish Museum of Greece in Athens houses digital copies of these records. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the digitized collection via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archival Programs in April 2009. RG Number RG-45.009 Esdras Moisis was born in 1923 in Larisa and died in 2011. He was married to Rita Cohen and had three children. He was member of the Greek National Resistance during the Second World War. After the war, he was president of the Jewish community Larissa (1970-1984) and member of the Central Jewish Board of Greece (1975-1998). Contains Esdras Moissis’s personal archives, which include various records, correspondence, and publications related to the history of the Jewish community of Larissa.
