Gisela Nathan collection

Gisela Nathan: correspondence Gisela Nathan (1927-2009) and her sister, Ruth (1929-2013), were apparently sent from Berlin in June 1939 to a family in Scotland probably on the Kindertransport, by their parents, Agathe and Carl Nathan. It is assumed that the family who received them, Mr and Mrs Alex Martin, were the children's guarantors. The last postcard sent from a Mr Levy in London is addressed to a&nbsp; Dipl. Ing. Hans Nathan, presumably related- possibly an uncle/ brother of the girls? Gisela sailed to Montreal on the ss Captain Cook on 17.5.1955, married Herman Gordon and settled in Toronto.
