Generální velitel neuniformované protektorátní policie, Praha
A decree of the Reich Protector ordered the reorganisation of all Protectorate police and gendarmerie units on 1 July 1942. The offices of commanders-general of the uniformed and non-uniformed Protectorate police were established at the Ministry of the Interior. The Office of the General Commander of the Non-Uniformed Protectorate Police (Generalkommandant der nichtuniformierten Protektoratspolizei) was responsible for the unified management of all non-uniformed units, i.e. the German Security Police and SD and the Protectorate Criminal Police. In Bohemia and Moravia, offices of inspectors of the non-uniformed Protectorate Police were established as subordinate bodies. The processed part of the fonds is only a small part of the writings of the General Commander of the non-uniformed Protectorate Police. Among the most important of these are summaries and cartoon plans of labor camps in the territory of the Protectorate and printed reports of the Protectorate Criminal Police (Meldeblatt der Protektoratskriminalpolizei). The unprocessed part of the fonds, which contains documents relating to the administration of the labour-education camps (Arbeitserziehungslager - AEL) and other internment camps in the Protectorate (e.g. in Mirošov, Ostrava-Vítkovice, Ostrava-Kunčice, Hradiště, Břežany, the gypsy camps in Lety u Písku and Hodonín, and the internment camp in Svatobořice), is a much larger body of content.
