Ministerstvo hospodářské obnovy – Londýn
The Ministry of Economic Reconstruction, which operated within the framework of the provisional Czechoslovak establishment in London, was established by a decree of the President of the Republic of 13 November 1941, but its competences were formulated in general terms. On 3 July 1942 a decree was issued on the scope of the Ministry. In addition to the transport department, which also carried out the migration and repatriation agenda, and the economic administration of the office with a treasury, library and archives, four departments (reconstruction, legal, legal aid organisation, supply and purchasing) were established in 1943. The liquidation of the ministry was carried out after the war by the Czechoslovak embassy in London. The fonds contains valuable information for the study of the conditions of Czechoslovak emigration in London and the organisation of international cooperation during the Second World War.
