Okresní národní výbor Pardubice (1945–1949)

The fonds contains documents of the political administration of the Pardubice District: registration and administrative books, files, and accounting material. Jews are explicitly mentioned in the following documents: war damage claims 1945–1949 (1952), support for members of families affected by the Nazi occupation (1943–1945), restitution of Jewish property 1945–1949. The administrative district of Pardubice was established in 1945 from the judicial districts of Holice, Pardubice, and Přelouč. Its territory thus coincided with the territory of the former district office. The Pardubice District National Committee as an administrative body started working as early as the beginning of May 1945. The inaugural meeting of the Pardubice District National Committee coincided with the inaugural meeting of the Pardubice Municipal National Committee. The activities of the District National Committee Pardubice were terminated by the establishing of the Single National Committee of Pardubice in 1949.
