partly accessible The fonds contains archive materials for the history of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague 1, including personal files of employees, in many cases leading Czech artists. The fonds also includes archival materials towards the persecution of the Jewish population during World War II, namely on the prohibition of the private teaching of Jewish children from 1940 (inv. No. 331). The School of Applied Arts in Prague was established according to its Viennese model in 1885 and its task was to educate workers for the art industry and train teachers of arts and crafts.
