Dissenting voices? : Stichting 1940-1945, Loe de Jong and the post-war myth of resistance in the Netherlands
2015
In this thesis, the author explores whether the 'myth of resistance' was indeed an all-encompassing successful, government-led myth as Pieter Lagrou has claimed or whether dissenting voices could be identified as well. With the use of Stichting 1940-1945 and Loe de Jong as case studies, the central argument is that alternative voices were raised after the war that challenged the post-war order and the myth of resistance. 1 online resource (118 pagina's.)
