La persécution des Juifs de France, 1940-1944, et le rétablissement de la légalité républicaine : recueil des textes officiels, 1940-1999

A collection of the texts presented by the Mission d'Étude sur la Spoliation des Juifs de France (the Mattéoli Commission) in its final report to the government, which shows the scope of the systematic spoliation of Jewish property in France during World War II. Following introductions in French and English, presents (on pp. 39-218) the principal documents issued by the French and German authorities between 1940-44, and French texts relating to restitution issued between 1943-60. All of the texts are reprinted in facsimile form. The rest of the work contains lists of the laws and regulations promulgated during the war, and those relating to restitution after the war. This book is accompanied by a series of booklets presenting findings of the Commission on specific topics.
