Memoirs of a hidden child during the Holocaust : my life during the War
1992
Memoirs of a Jewish woman who was in the ghetto of Warsaw until 1942, when she and her family acquired Aryan documents and left the ghetto. During the Warsaw uprising of August 1944 she and her mother were seized by the Germans and sent to labor camps - first Lehrte, then Braunschweig; there she was liberated by the American army. Both on the "Aryan side" of Warsaw and in the labor camp, she and her mother were exposed to antisemitism. After the war the family was reunited and left Poland because of the antisemitism. vi, 81 pages ; 24 cm
