The manuscript of this booklet was brought to England from Poland by the representative of the United Jewish Relief Appeal, Philip Friedman, when he visited Poland in October 1945. Friedman is the director of the Central Jewish Historical Commission in Poland, as well as having been a member of the Polish State Commission for Investigating the German Crimes in Poland. This is the first scientific account of what happened in Auschwitz. 84 pages illustrations plans 19 cm
