Mother’s family, van Dams

Item is a copy of a family photo of Sorensen’s grandparents, mother, aunt, and uncle. Included in the photo (left to right) is aunt Rozetta van Dam, grandfather Izaak van Dam, grandmother Anna Emma van Dam née van Dam, Sorensen’s mother Marianne (Jeanne) van Dam, and uncle Mozes (Maurits) van Dam. The approximate date of the original photo is 1914. Marianne was the only person in this photograph who survived the war.
