Mr. and Mrs. Goodsir with their children, Carry (8) and tianny (4) on board the Oranjefontein after she had berthed at Victoria Docks, Melbourne. There she suffered such tortures as having her finger nails pulled off and her arms burned with cigarette ends by the Japanese guards who tried to force her to give the names of other non co-operators.
