Hitler, wearing an early Nazi unfirom and swastika armband, reviews the marching members of the growing party on the occasion of the 1927 party rally. This was the second meeting of the National socialist Party, popularly known as the Nazi Pary. As a result of the unsuccessful "Beer Hall Putsch", the party had been ordered disbanded. But after his release from the fortress at Landsberg, Hitler recommenced his political activities and reorganized the party, which now became national in scope. the symbolic salute, the swastika, uniforms and iron military discipline were adopted bu the growing number of followers.
