Americans pay tribute to Russia at outdoor ceremony in New York. Two war heroes of the U.S.S.R. meet two representatives of Russian culture at an outdoorn Tribute to Russia meeting in New York City in observance of Russia's entry upon her third year of war with Germany. Left to right are: Capt. Vladimir Izotov of the Soviet merchant marine, Zinaida Shuskevich and Vera Bely of the Raduschev Choir in Manhattan and Rear Admiral Alexander Brykin of the Russian Navy. Both officers have received the Order of Lenin. High American and Russian officials paid tribute to the Soviet armed forces and to the unity of the United Nations at the meeting, which attracted a throng of 10,000 on one of the hottest days New York has ever experienced.
