The much sunk aircraft carrier H.M.S. Ark Royal, despite German broadcasts to the contrary, is here seen comfortably berthed in a Home Port after her travels which included visits to South Africa and South America, during which she was a continuous menace to the Nazi raiders, both on the sea and in the air. A Swordfish reconnaissance machine hoisted on board for experimental purposes.
