German war plant in France wrecked by U.S. army bombers. Results of a raid by Flying Fortress bombers of the Eigth U.S. Army Air Force on the Renault factory at Billancourt, Paris, France, are clearly shown in this phograph of the plant's foundry after the bombs exploded. Buried under the wreckage is the foundry furnace for baking nolds. The system of flues and pipes is completely wrecked. The Renault plant had been producing about 1,200 trucks a month for the German Army before it was wrecked by yhe American bombers.
