The road to Brittany. U.S. infantrymen and armored vehicles move abreast of each other in the drive into Brittany from Normandy. These troops are part of the froce which made the lightning advance to the Loire which cut off of the whole of Brittany with its three great ports and U-boat bases of Brest, Lorient and St. Nazaire.
