For their part in killing six and capturing one of a German patrol, Capt. J.H. Hudson and Fusilier J. Worsley, of the Lancashire Fusiliers, were decorated with the Croix de Guerre by French Generals. French troops were also decorated at the same ceremony. (N.B. The French troops were not concerned in the same engagements as the British.)
