' Here is the start of the 200 meter relay race at the CAOF swimming meet, held at Emden under the auspices of 3th Canadian Infantry Division. ' CAOF= Canadian Army Occupation Force. The Canadian Army Occupation Force was created in 1945 as part of Canada's commitment to postwar Europe. The formation was formed on the organizational structure of a standard infantry division. The units were named after those in the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division.
